Payment is made securely through our payment partner, Stripe, using any major debit or credit card, or by bank transfer. In some cases we can provide assessments that are covered by private health insurance, depending on provider. Please contact us to find out more.
Why do private autism assessment costs vary?
Our assessments are carried out by an experienced multidisciplinary team, follow NICE guidance and include a detailed diagnostic report. When you compare providers, it is worth checking exactly what each fee includes, such as the report, school liaison and a feedback session.

Frequently asked questions
Is the price different for a combined autism and ADHD assessment?
Yes. A combined assessment costs £2,995 fully online or £3,095 with in-person observation, for adults and for children from age 6. Children under 10 are seen in person, so the £3,095 fee applies.
Can I pay in instalments?
Yes. You can pay in full or in two equal payments: 50% before your first appointment and 50% before your second. We do not offer longer monthly plans. We accept debit and credit cards through our secure payment provider, Stripe, and bank transfer.
Can I use private health insurance?
We work with a number of private insurers, but cover depends on your policy. Check with your insurer whether autism assessment is covered and whether you need a GP referral for the claim, then contact us and we will confirm whether we can accept it.
Are there any extra costs?
No. Your fee covers your assessment coordinator, questionnaires, both assessment appointments, the clinical team review, your diagnostic report and a feedback session.
What if I need to cancel or rearrange an appointment?
You can rearrange an appointment by contacting your assessment coordinator. We require a 48-hour notice period. Cancellations within 48 hours of the scheduled appointment may incur a charge. Full details are in our cancellation policy.
Is a private autism assessment worth the cost?
That depends on what you need the diagnosis for and how long you would wait locally. A private assessment gives you a clear timescale and a report you can use with the NHS, schools and employers, while the NHS route is free and equally valid if timing matters less to you. We have answered this in full in our guide, Is it worth paying for a private autism assessment? Our free online screening can also help you decide whether to take the next step.
