Is it worth paying for a private autism assessment?

For many people, the benefits of a private autism assessment outweigh the cost. NHS waiting lists in some UK areas currently exceed 2–5 years, prompting more and more families and adults to explore private options. Many people feel that the reassurance of a clear outcome, a recognised report, and practical recommendations outweighs the uncertainty and long delays often experienced through NHS routes.

A private autism assessment will provide you with:

  • Significantly reduced waiting times
  • A bespoke assessment, built around you
  • Flexible appointments
  • Access to experts
  • Faster turnaround time
